Grech Farm Trading

About Us

Charlie Grech started farming in 1956, and then, thirty years ago was joined by four of his sons. Today two of those sons, Edgar and Paul still own and operate the farm, along with Paul’s son Matthew who is the third generation working at Grech Farm. We are all involved because we love farming.

We purchased a new property in Cooma, which is a cooler climate than Camden, and so allows us to grow some of our vegetables all year round. All our produce is fresh and we use fewer chemicals by using Integrated Pest Management.

We appreciate the benefits of the market because it helps to promote the farming industry. We sell directly to the public and can identify exactly what the customer wants.

We were one of the initial stall holders from the start of the market and happy to put up our money to keep the market running when NSW Farmers Association pulled out.

The Market will re-open 2nd October.

We will be working over the next few weeks to put in place all necessary processes to ensure that going forward the market can continue to operate without closure.

As you all know the case numbers are escalating still and lockdowns are restricting every part of our lives at this stage until Mid-September. This impacts not only you, our customer base but the stallholders as well and we don't want to have to stop again, that is why we are not rushing back.

We ask you to be patient as we work to secure the future of the market.
